Hi, I'm Amogh

I leverage machine learning and data analytics to derive impactful insights.

Currently engineering data workflows at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas. Turning messy operational data into something teams actually trust and use.

Nice to meet you

Blending analytics thinking with practical data engineering.

Data Engineer at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas with a Master's in Business Analytics and AI from UT Dallas. I spend most of my time building and optimizing pipelines, migrating legacy packages to modern cloud tooling, and making sure the data downstream is clean enough to act on.

Day-to-day that means Python, PySpark, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and a lot of SQL. I like the work that sits between raw ingestion and a report someone can trust.

  • Architected Azure-based data integration pipelines across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Synapse to support distributed analytics workloads, implementing automated shortcut synchronization that prevented stale datasets and improved downstream reliability.
  • Owned daily monitoring and orchestration of production ETL and ELT pipelines for enterprise analytics delivery, resolving failures and strengthening resiliency so data remained highly available and dependable for downstream consumers.
  • Contributed to an internal AI document intelligence platform by building Python and FastAPI services integrated with Azure AI Search, Azure Document Intelligence, and a RAG pipeline, enabling automated extraction, classification, and summarization of SharePoint-hosted PDFs for faster enterprise knowledge discovery.
